CSI Pacific PODIUM SEARCH™

CSI Pacific PODIUM SEARCH™ Testing is Open to the Public on Saturday for athletes who were unable to make it to the testing on Oct 12th and Oct 13th. Testing takes roughly an hour, so parents can show up anytime between 9am-2pm.

CSI Pacific PODIUM SEARCH™ is an athlete identification and standardized fitness testing program for able-bodied and para-athletes. Athletes participate in a series of basic field tests that measure anthropometry (height/arm span/weight), power, strength, speed, and endurance. The data gathered offers insight for individual athlete fitness evaluation and monitoring, and can be compared across sports and/or sport specific athlete development benchmarks.  

PODIUM SEARCH™ Field Tests include: 

· Anthropometry (Height, Arm span, Weight) 

· Power – Vertical Jump 

· Speed – 10m / 30m running sprint (10m / 20m wheelchair sprint where appropriate) 

· Strength – Isometric Mid-Thigh Pull 

· Endurance – 20m Leger Multi Stage Fitness Test (Beep test) 

  Athletes attending the event will receive information on their testing scores and the data will be shared with your Local Sports Organization (LSO) and your Provincial Sports Organization (PSO). We encourage all Podium Search athletes to attend the RBC Training Ground Program where testing scores are shared with RBC National Sports Organization (NSO) Partner sports founds here: https://www.rbctrainingground.ca
